Meet the Board
Judge Erin Perry is an appointee to the Duval County Court bench. In her role, Judge Perry presides over misdemeanor criminal and county court civil matters. Prior to being appointed to this position, Judge Perry was a prosecutor for over 11 years. As a prosecutor, Judge Perry prosecuted homicides and other violent crimes and supervised a felony line division as a Division Chief. Judge Perry has been very involved in her church, leading life groups and speaking at women’s conferences. She also has been involved in GameFace 4:13 for two years. Additionally, Judge Perry was involved in community events through her time in the State Attorney’s Office.
Judge Perry is a proud “Double Gator,” having received her Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Florida. She enjoys her church, spending time with her family and friends, and relaxing on the beach or in a boat.
Jared is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University where he received his bachelors in Accounting and Masters in Business. As a member of the CCU football team, he excelled on the field and in the classroom. Jared started his career as a corporate accountant in the Real Estate Investment Trust industry. His background in accounting and working with number allowed him to see the tremendous opportunity in owning his own business. This prompted him to start his own real estate flipping business, Modern Vision Properties Inc., in 2016. He has flipped houses all houses all over Jacksonville and now works in the industry as an investor, real estate agent, and still does accounting part-time.
As a former athlete, he loves to compete and stay active. His hobbies include playing basketball, flag football, hosting games nights and spending time with his family. Jared has been a member of Game Face’s Board from its inception and is passionate about helping student-athletes reach their potential rather it be on the court or in the classroom
Brynna Gill is currently a Duval County Public School Teacher. She was a former Site Coordinator at Communities in Schools Jacksonville. Brynna studied Psychology at the University of North Florida. She is passionate about teaching, photography, and music. She currently resides in Jacksonville, FL with her son Damien.
Michaela Watford was born and raised in Louisville, KY. She graduated from Seneca High School in 1985 and later joined the United States Navy in 1988. Her last military assignment was as Administrative Office Leading Chief, at FRC Mayport, FL. She retired in May of 2018 after completing 20 years of highly distinguished service. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Secondary Social Studies in December of 2011. After retiring from the military, she became an educator for Duval County Public Schools in March of 2012; and was awarded teacher of the year for Highlands Middle School September 2014- August 2015. She is currently working at William M Raines HIghschool where she teaches U.S History. Her volunteer work includes working with the local American Cancer Society in Jacksonville, FL. When she isn't working, you will find her working with her young women's group, the Ladies of Raines.
One of her greatest philanthropic pursuits is to see a mobile pantry program that will serve many children and families in significant underserved neighborhoods or hard to reach areas, providing food in pre-packed boxes. Focusing on highly demanded items like meat and produce. She is married to Nathaniel Watford Jr. and resides in Orange Park, FL.
Nathaniel Watford Jr. was born and raised In Indianapolis In. He graduated from Ben Davis High school and joins the United States Navy In 1987. His last military assignment was a substance Abuse Manager, at Naval Hospital Jacksonville Florida. He is one of 16 siblings. He retired after completing 23 years of highly distinguish service. He graduated from Saint Leo University, St Leo, FL to complete his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology April 2012. Completed his Master degree from Webster University, Saint Louis, Missouri in Management and leadership, December 2013. After receiving education and retiring from the military he becomes a substitute teacher for the state of Florida 2012; and is awarded Substitute Teacher of the year 2014. He is currently working at Grand Park education center where he has been the Dean of Student and teaching Social Science. His volunteer works includes working at the local food bank in Jacksonville Florida, tutoring youth and involved in several communality clean-up programs. When he isn’t working, you find Nathaniel fishing off the local piers, motorcycle riding, working the yard and enjoying family.
